Meet The Staff
Sherry Hendrickson – Office Manager
Sherry grew up in Tuttle, Ok and has been married to her husband for 36 years. She has 3 sons, 2 daughter-in-laws as well as a future daughter-in-law who has been in their family for 6 years. Sherry and her husband are the proud grandparents of a beautiful baby girl and expecting another granddaughter in July. And we can’t forget about the fur babies, a boxer named Apollo and a yorkie name Manny.
Some of Sherry’s favorite hobbies include decorating, reading, and working in her flowerbeds. Her family are members of Heritage Family Church, where she is involved in several ministries and Ladies Bible Study. However, her most favorite and cherished hobby is spend time with her family at home.
Sherry has been in the field of dentistry for 18 years and at Absolute Smiles since they opened their doors in 2010, where she serves as Office Manager. Sherry’s favorite part of the work day is having the opportunity to see and visit with many of the people that she’s known her whole life in her home town as well as seeing the before and after results of Dr. Chastain’s work. Sherry believes the smile and gratitude that our patients have when they leave our office is immeasurable.
Mandy Base – Scheduler And Office Coordinator
Mandy has been married to her husband, Dudley, for 25 years. They have three beautiful daughters: Devynn (20) and a sophomore at UCO, Dalanee (18) a junior at Tuttle High School, and Shelbee (14) an 8th grader at Tuttle. Mandy originally grew up in the Oklahoma City area, but always says that she is not “move in” because she “Married Tuttle” since her husband and his entire family are Tuttle born and bred. Her and her family live on a farm in Tuttle with lots of cattle, 3 dogs, and 1 cat.
Mandy’s main interests are God, Dudley, and her girls. Her family are member of Heratige Family Church. While the majority of her off daycare filled with softball, softball, and then more softball, she really enjoys to cook.
Mandy has been in the field of dentistry for 4.5 years when she joined the Absolute Smiles team. Her favorite part of her job is enter acting with our patients and being a part of a team/staff that truly cares for one another
April Ritsch – Dental Hygienist
April grew up in Little Axe, Ok and is engaged to her wonderful fiancé Allen. They have a blended family consisting of Baylor (10), Gage (9), and Princess Brylee (4) and currently live in Moore, but plan to move to the Tri-City area.
When April isn’t busy running their kids around to all of their sports and activities, she enjoys gardening, golfing, fishing, camping, hunting (primarily duck), and playing outdoors with her kids.
April was initially drew to dentistry her senior year of high school when she had to do a career research paper and thoroughly enjoyed observing the dental hygienist in the office of her childhood dentist. Ever since that experience, she was intrigued and later attended Rose State College where she graduated with a double associates in Applied Science and also went through the Dental Assisting Program prior to Dental Hygiene School. She has been a hygienist for almost 13 years.
April enjoyed being able to come to work and work closely with such a great team! She feels that Aboslute Smiles and its staff is more a second home/family than work. As a hygienist, she thoroughly enjoys getting to know all of her patients and their families and providing them with the best dental health care and knowledge that she can.
Cherish Burum – Dental Hygienist
Cherish originally grew up in Choctaw, Ok and married her high school sweetheart Andrew where they currently reside in Moore. Cherish and Andrew welcomed their first bundle of joy, Miss Addison Jade, on November 10th, 2018. They have 2 dogs, Emma a chocolate lab and Cooper, a golden retriever.
Cherish enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Cherish and her husband love working on projects together, deer hunting, and camping.
Cherish graduated from the dental assisting program at Rose State in 2012 and then immediately began the dental hygiene program where she graduated in 2014. Cherish began working part time at Absolute Smile in 2014 and later became full time in April 2015.
What initially drew her to dentistry is that she loves to see people smile. She wanted to find a way to help others smile more. She also enjoys educating people on the importance of oral health and helping her patients feels more confident with their own smile. Cherish’s favorite part of her work day is having the opportunity to meet new people and their families. She believes Tuttle is an amazing community and she is so thankful to meet so many great people.
Angela Luna-Schulte – Dental Assistant
Angela is married with 2 sons, 2 step-daughters, and fur baby named Buddy. Angela enjoys going to the lake and being with her family as well as watching her nieces and nephews play sports.
Angela has been in the dental field for 6 years and graduated from Metro Tech with as a Certified Dental Assistant in 2013. Angela was also was interested in density and when she decided to go back to school she new it had to be in some aspect of the field.
Angela’s favorite part of her day is just seeing patients smile and being a part of a team that truly cares about not only their dental need but the patient in general.
